I have been tooling around with the Play! Framework lately – and must confess that I LOVE IT. Building Java based web apps has never been this fun, and It gives me that instant gratification I have come to love via PHP. Super fast and automatic compilation, and its really easy to deploy on the Google App Engine. Finally, a Java Framework for me.

The following video was produced by the Play! Framework team.
