Let your children fail!

Let your children learn by experience – opposed to pure observation. Show them one time how to do something, explain to them the desired outcome and then let them go to town. If they screw it up, and the outcome isn’t what was desired – they will need to do it again, and again and again… Until they get it right. This process might take 1 day or 2 years depending on the situation. I’m 33 and still trying to learn to keeping my mouth shut when I’m supposed to be quiet.
