I read your post with interest. I am the author of The Overview Effect: Space Exploration and Human Evolution. I documented the astronauts’ experiences in my book and named the phenomenon. A number of us are now forming an Overview Institute to continue exploring this phenomenon. We feel that it will have an even bigger impact as more people go into orbit or experience simulations of the Effect.
