Dropbox – one place for all your eStuff.

I haven’t given Dropbox enough public love.

Everyday I should be required to stand atop the tallest building in Indianapolis – screaming my undying gratitude for this amazing online service – that has never once failed me. Why might I owe them this, you ask? Because I have yet to pay them a single penny – not one. For the last 6 months Dropbox has been my online hardrive that’s accessible from any computer – including my iphone.

Imagine being able bring your “My Documents” folder where ever you go – Dropbox truly liberates the data that was once trapped in a single computer.  Here are just a few examples of why Dropbox kicks ass:

  • At my accountant’s office and realized I was missing a document, in less than 20 seconds I was able to open the Dropbox iPhone App, browse to the file and email it to him.
  • When waiting for … anything, I am able to proof read the book I am in the process of writing.
  • I have access to every photo I have ever taken.
  • With DropBox’s shared folder feature, I can share a Designs folder with my co-workers.
  • Hard Drive fails? It’s not so bad when I keep all my working files with Dropbox.

Honestly, with 2gigs free and a crazy easy setup –  there is absoloutely no reason not to signup.

Dropbox – Home – Secure backup, sync and sharing made easy..
