Jonathan Ive - Apple's Senior Vice President of Industrial Design

Jonathan Ive is the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple, Inc. Since 1996, Ive has lead  the design team that was responsible for the ground breaking designs of the first iMac, iPod, iPhone, Macbooks and every other product Apple produces. Unlike most corporate rockstars, online interviews with Jonathan are virtually non-existant.  I ‘m not sure if this lack of a public persona is from his own personal preference or a result of the Apple curtain of secrecy. Regardless, for the last 10 years I’ve prayed daily to my Ives shrine, and I feel it’s my civic designer duty to share any interviews or videos of Jonathan that I happen to stumble upon.

This inverview is a snippet from Objectified – a documentary about design from the same creators that brought you Helvetica.
