Another little pet project of mine – Listy, Shopping List Sharing.

Disclaimer: I have a tendency to create these little ideas and spend a weekend burning the midnight oil to build it. Then, Monday comes.  I get swept back in to the stream of my full-time work and these little ideas fall in to the archives.  This post is publicly written to my future self.

Dear Future Brandon,

First off let me say – sorry for not taking better care of myself, and I hope you have a better grasp on life than I now do. Anyways, I wanted to remind you about Listy. That little idea that manifested out of the need to learn about the cloud and a complex API, you know what I’m talking about?

That Listy app was pretty fun. It’s fast, it’ll scale and it’s simple. Plus it had a very obvious revenue model. Best part was, the app would cost virtually nothing to maintain. So take a real good look at the mockup below, and try to remember why we made it the way we did.
