I’m all for helping a crippled OS toward realizing the potential of untapped capabilities new processors have to offer– just hopeful that Apple doesn’t leave those loyal pre-Intel G5 users, who don’t have the scratch to throw down on a Mac Pro, in the dust come next major release.
It blows for sure, but It was only a matter of time right – after they switched to Intel.
Haha, indeed… at least it’s reassuring that Apple’s direction is clear– can’t say the same for Microsoft.
