JobChi Job Listing Wordpress Plugin (2.4 KiB, 148 hits)

JobListingWordpressPlugin.jpgOh how I love Job Postings. Not because I’m always looking for a new job, but because its content is so SEO rich it’s not even funny. Think of all the unique keywords that exist in job titles, and descriptions. On top of great SEO value, Job listings are a great way to continually draw visitors back to your blog. These understanding led me to create the WordPress Job Listing Plugin. See the example on my Usability Jobs Page

You provide a shortcode the Search Term and Location (optional), and the WordPress Job Listing Plugin will scour the web for the latest job postings.

It’s important to remember that while this is a simple plugin, it is in early alpha stages. I can offer no guarantees that it will work with your installation of WordPress. I can also not guarantee that the plugin will not come to life and eat your brains.

How to use the Job Listing Plugin

You can add Job Listings to both Pages and Posts by simply typing the shortcode syntax in the body of your Post or Page. As seen in the examples below.

List all jobs with User Experience in the title – in Indianapolis, IN

[jobchi q="title:(User Experience)" location="Indianapolis, IN"]

List all Jobs by Apple

[jobchi q="company:(Apple)"]

List all Graphic Design Jobs

[jobchi q="Graphic Designer"]
